As a result of developmental disturbances some children’s ears stand wide away from their heads, a fact that is especially troubling during puberty. Numerous surgical methods of ear bending are available. At NOFRETETE we use a combination of several methods to assure – apart from the aesthetic success – highest safety standards during the operation.
 

 

  

 
Duration: The operation takes 40-60 minutes

Anaesthetization: Local anaesthetics is sufficient but can be combined with "dozing sleep"

Clinic sojourn: Out-patient-procedure is possible

Scars: The ear bending operation will leave a 1 cm-scar behind the outer ear

Socially presentable: After 2-3 days, although a paper bandage should be applied within the ear for one week. We recommend wearing a bandage around the forehead at night for three weeks
