Eyelid lifting (Blepharoplasty) 

 
The eye lid skin is the thinnest skin of the whole human body and is therefore the first to become wrinkly. Lid tautening (upper and/ or lower) is most often done under local anaesthetics and takes approx. one hour. The face gains a significantly younger appearance. It is the most common ambulant aesthetic operation.
 

 
Duration: The operation takes approx. 30-60 minutes

Anaesthetization: Possible under local anaesthetics, recommend in combination with "dozing sleep"

Clinic sojourn: Out-patient-procedure

Scars: Inside the upper eye lid fold or underneath the lower eye lid lashes with an offshoot of 2-3 mm on the sides

Socially presentable: With sun glasses after 4-5 days, without sun glasses after 8-12 days
